In the Netherlands, more than 25,000 children live with a congenital heart defect. Many of them face surgeries, treatments and hospital visits from a very young age. But undergoing surgery is not the same as being cured. Stichting Hartekind is the only charity in the Netherlands dedicated exclusively to scientific research into heart defects in children, working every day towards a future in which these children have better survival rates and a better quality of life.
Through the NL Foundation, we support projects that contribute to the social,emotional and personal development of children. This donation reflects that commitment: every child deserves a carefree childhood, with a heart that works as it should.
